Home safety
Simple improvements to reduce trip hazards and improve lighting and layout.
We share clear, evidence-based guidance to help reduce the risk of falls — through community talks, simple home safety steps, and strength & balance awareness.
This website shares information, not medical advice. If you’ve fallen or feel unwell, contact your GP or NHS 111. In an emergency call 999.
We deliver clear, practical falls-prevention talks for community groups, churches, lunch clubs, housing associations and care organisations.
The Falls Prevention Trust exists to help older people stay safe and independent by reducing the risk of falls. We focus on information that people can understand and use — delivered through friendly talks and simple resources.
We work with community groups, churches, lunch clubs, housing associations, and care organisations. Over time we plan to seek funding to expand our reach and produce more high-quality resources.
We deliver engaging talks (30–60 minutes) with time for questions. Suitable for older audiences and carers.
